Trouble (aka Laura Paris) is an artist and arts activist living in NYC. She is active as a sculptor, painter, projectionist, and installation artist. Trouble also includes Sam Hillmer at times, especially surrounding Trouble’s infamous You Are Here Festival (aka the Maze!)… Recently Trouble has shown/performed at BAM, La Nuit Blanche, and Secret Project Robot Gallery in New York City, the Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center (EMPAC) in Troy NY, The White Chapel Gallery and Institute for Contemporary Art (ICA) in London, West Germany Show and Gallery space in Berlin, the Brno House of Arts in Brno Czech Republic, and the Vacant Gallery in Tokyo, Japan.
